Kate and Ella have been here for a week and it's been tons of fun and a little crazy, but mostly fun! I think Keith has been a little overwhelmed with all of the female energy. Isabel has been here, too, so that's six girls and one boy! 

We have been doing lots of kid activities; the Children's Museum, parks and playgrounds, shopping at the toy store and candy store and a lot of hangin' out. It's been nice to have enough time to do all the things that Kate wants to do while they are here and not feel rushed. We even managed to find a road bike for Kate to use, and she was able to get a ride in almost every day. Last night we all went to the All comers track meet here on the island. It's a lot of fun. There are races for every age; the first race is for girls three and under, then boys, then girls age 4, then 5, etc., all the way to adult. It was Simone's first race and she and Amelia loved it. We convinced Keith to run, but after beers and a big dinner, he bit the big one. Poor Keith! He got pretty ripped up!  

I admit, it definitely added a little more chaos to the usual routine, but sooooo worth it. We've all loved having them here. The girls get a long well; the big girls just adore Ella. And Ella takes it all in, taking notes, I'm sure. And I love having another friend/fellow mom/sister-in-law here that is fun to hang out with and relate to. They are off to Oregon for a few days, then will be back again on Sunday and with Alex and Sophie! Yay!
