There's no place like home…

It's now May, and we are still waiting for spring…

The Cinderella Ballet last weekend made a huge impression on Amelia. She's been "practicing" all week. Of course, Simone tries to keep up with her! But Simone has been working on her own cuteness. She is STILL obsessed with The Wizard of Oz. Grammy made her a booklet with pictures from the movie and she loves carrying it around.

A great treat on Friday! My friend Kim and her son Rudy (almost 3) came up from Southern California. She was my massage therapist b.k. (before kids) and we asked her to be our doula for Amelia's birth. So, she was there the moment that Amelia came into the world! We get to see Kim about once a year, and we're always thrilled when it happens!

Also, I started needle felting this week. I took a break from knitting to try this fun little craft. Keith thinks I'm off my rocker; why would I enjoy stabbing the heck out of wool roving to create two-inch teddy bears and bunnies? I'm not sure either, but for some sick reason, I do!

I can't stop smiling - I have the cutest granddaughters in the world! Someday they'll be famous ballerinas and I saw them at the very beginning. Love your felted animals, too.

I can't believe how long Simone's hair is getting! She's a little girl now. ADORABLE! I also think that you may be off your rocker with the needle felting. Do you use a thimble? I think you would have to.
