I missed last week – Even though Uncle Alex came for a visit, Amelia was sick (see last picture) and the weather was still cold. Suddenly, we have instant summer! It went from being in the low 50's to the 70's and 80's!! The kids are in heaven! It's definitely what the doctor ordered. I was beginning to plan moving us all down to California or something. We've been outside nonstop and had a fun BBQ with our friends Carolyn and Torey and their kids, Madison (Amelia's BEST friend) and their 1-year-old, Reed.
You can tell Simone will be two soon (less than a month!) – she is constantly copying her big sister. Amelia takes advantage of it, too, as you can see in the videos. She loves telling her what to do (bossing her around?). Also, Simone is always singing! I mean, ALWAYS! Uncle Alex caught some video of this while we were out doing errands.
Yay for the sun! I hope it lasts!
Pete and REPEAT! Love the way Simone copies everything Amelia does - reminds me of two little people I used to know named Renee and Alex. I miss the girls and can't wait to see them soon!
