Anything Goes!

Amelia's new obsession: Broadway Musicals! Particularly "Anything Goes" and "Hairspray." After taking her to the local high school production and watching hundreds of videos of the broadway version on youtube.com, Amelia begged me for tap shoes. I found a pair and new dress up clothes at a garage sale and she's been "performing" nonstop! I have to watch her "shows" in our upstairs bathroom (the acoustics are better :) )

(By the way, at dinner tonight, Amelia said "This dinner is DELECTABLE!" – pretty funny if you are familiar with "Delovely" from "Anything Goes.")

Memorial Day BBQ

Hey everyone! I've been sooooooo busy that I'm behind on getting these up. We went to a BBQ last Monday with all of our friends. It was at our friends Claire, Eric and Calvin's house, which is just perfect for this sort of thing and the second year we've done it. They have a couple of acres, a couple of goats, a rope swing, and a fantastic yard and patio for hangin' out. Keith brought his camera and got some AMAZING shots, as you can see. That is one of the bennies of being married to a pro! I do have some more shots that I will post later.

Well, only a week and a half left of school and swimming lessons, then it's officially summer vacation. Now if only we could get the weather to cooperate! (I'm writing this after a solid day of torrential downpour and 52 degrees).
